Corporate life never quite found me, so I built my own lane.
Quinton John is an entrepreneur, model and explorer working between New York and Los Angeles. Ten years of building, exploring and creating — a clothing line in Vietnam, a marketing agency in New York, retreats across three continents, and a camera pointed at me for a good stretch of it. I've learned by doing, adapting and staying curious.
Small-group wellness travel for people who want a trip that actually lands. I scout the places, design the days, and host every detour myself.

Five days, one small group. The trip that proved the format works and set the standard for everything after it.
On the founding team of a wellness sanctuary in Los Angeles — where I learned what makes a room of strangers actually open up.
Built from the ground up overseas: sourcing, production, the whole logistics of making a real thing exist.
Rooms that taught me how people connect and experience brands — energy, timing, and what makes something memorable.
The trip that changed my perception of world travel — and set the course for everything I've built since.
From launching a clothing line in Vietnam to building Phase 1 Management in New York, I've learned by doing. Modeling, hospitality and set work put me in rooms that taught me how people connect and experience brands, and how creativity and logistics come together to make something land.
That became an agency focused on partnerships, storytelling and community-driven growth — and then Beautiful Detours, travel built to change the shape of a week rather than fill it.
Much of my perspective came from seeing the world firsthand. Volunteering in East Africa, building in Vietnam, trekking mountains in between. Travel still shapes how I live and work, and I want to show that there isn't one path to success — creating your own lane is not only possible, it's necessary.
The people you surround yourself with shape your trajectory, so I keep building communities and partnerships that push everyone in them to think bigger. Long term: a life and a business with both freedom and impact, and a small role in someone else taking their first step.
